Boarding/Support Specialist

Summary/Objective

The Boarding/Support Specialist will be responsible for entering new clients into the FreedomPay system and configuring them for access to the merchant environment. The Boarding/Support Specialist monitors the required paperwork to ensure merchants are in compliance with P2PE, handles boarding and customer services inquiries, participates in Internal and Client meetings, and tracks merchant billing invoices. This individual should be capable of understanding and mastering the technologies behind FreedomPay’s suite of products and services. The Boarding/Support Specialist works closely with the compliance team to understand the requirements imposed on the merchant locations, and to ensure documentation provided to the clients is up to date.

Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
• Data entry and update for new and existing clients
• Monitor merchant paperwork and practices to ensure compliance
• Working with clients to answer customer service and boarding related inquiries
• Participating in meetings with clients as well as internal team members to track and convey boarding advancements
• Maintain and track merchant invoices
• Work closely with FreedomPay compliance team to understand compliance requirements and relay them to the merchants
• Other related tasks as assigned
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science or related degree (required)
• 1-2 years experience required
• Some travel may be required

Required Experience:
• Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills
• Technical expertise of relevant technologies
• Well versed in business software (Word, Excel, etc)

Desired Experience:
• 3-5 years experience preferred but not required
