Gateway partnership leads to payment process innovation
Gilbertsville, Pa. (September 21, 2017) – The world leader in ticketing software, admission control and revenue generation for the attractions industry, Gateway Ticketing Systems has partnered with FreedomPay to significantly extend its payment card processing options to customers, both within the U.S. and globally.
Through FreedomPay, Gateway will offer its customers EMV and near-field communication (NFC), coupled with PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE), the industry’s highest standard for payment data security. With EMV-ready payment terminals and card data tokenization, Gateway’s customers will experience the most advanced credit card security protection. Tokenization provides a safe representation of a credit card, without ever exposing the Galaxy point-of-sale system to the actual credit card numbers. Tokenization supports the use of our payment plans feature, which allows products to be purchased over time with automatic recurring payments, without the risk of storing personal credit card information.
