FreedomPay settled into its 25,000 square-feet at the FMC Tower this past summer, but the cloud-based commerce platform’s CEO says they are already looking to expand.

The company moved from its original location in Radnor to its new downtown space this past summer.

During a Thursday ribbon cutting ceremony that included Mayor Jim Kenney, CEO Tom Durovsik told the Business Journal the company is looking for another 5,000-10,000 square feet of office space to expand in the city by the end of the year.

“It’s great to be here welcoming another innovative company to join Philadelphia’s business community. I’d like to recognize Founder and CEO Tom Durovsik and the other FreedomPay employees who are here with us today. I believe that you guys are really going to love it here,” said Mayor Kenney. “FreedomPay’s decision to open offices in Philadelphia could not have been possible without the Keystone Opportunity Zone, this initiative spearheaded by Gov. Wolf and his team in Harrisburg has greatly increased the amount of business development taking place in Philadelphia.”
