Vanderbilt reduces PCI scope across campus with PCI Validated P2PE
The Company
Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university in Nashville, Tennessee with 13,000 undergraduate and graduate students, and 25,000 faculty and staff members.
The Challenge
Vanderbilt wanted to offer credit card acceptance throughout the campus with EMV, NFC and PCI Validated P2PE to ensure best in class security, lower fraud liability exposure and reduce scope for PCI DSS compliance.
The Results
With Validated P2PE payment terminals deployed in locations across campus, including dining halls, the health center, the box office, the card office, and the student rec center, Vanderbilt is enabling students, staff and visitors to pay with credit cards securely, with the benefit of PCI DSS scope reduction.
