HotelKey Chooses FreedomPay to Deliver Comprehensive Secure Payment Solution for Hotel Operators
DALLAS, TX – August 05, 2016 – HotelKey, a leader in mobile solutions designed to simplify hotel management, has selected the FreedomPay Commerce Platform to deliver PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) with EMV and NFC support. The PCI-validated solution is designed to provide hotel guests with complete card data security for all transactions by ensuring that sensitive cardholder data is encrypted at the point of interaction and replaced with surrogate values in the hotel’s network environments. FreedomPay’s platform is fully integrated with HotelKey’s Frontdesk iPad app and EMV certified with major card processors enabling hotel operators to rapidly deploy validated EMV-capable payment terminals and benefit from lower counterfeit fraud and card issuer charge-backs. The platform is also capable of processing mobile wallet transactions from Apple, Samsung, and Android Pay allowing guests to use their preferred payment method while delivering the peace of mind that their card data is safe.
